Grab-A-Mow Marketplace · Updated September 28, 2026

Grab-A-Mow Marketplace (also called Grab-A-Mow) is the website and app operated by Grab A Mow, LLC.

Grab-A-Mow collects contact and job information that homeowners and lawn care professionals submit through grabamow.com, including name, email, phone number, location, job details, service radius, availability, helper or crew details, receipt uploads, expense records, and related notes.

We may also collect account activity, device and browser details, approximate location, precise GPS job-arrival details when enabled, uploaded photos, messages, ratings, reviews, payment status, payout status, form acknowledgements, IP address, referral source, cookies or similar analytics data, and records connected to support requests.

On public marketing and signup pages, Microsoft Advertising's Universal Event Tracking (UET) may use browser identifiers and cookies to measure ad visits and newly completed lawn pro registrations. Our signup conversion event does not include the form's name, email, phone, address, or other entered details. You can manage cookies in your browser and review Microsoft's privacy statement.

We use this information to match homeowners with lawn care professionals, send service updates, provide customer support, process payments, review job proof, handle disputes, reduce off-platform payment abuse, improve Grab-A-Mow, protect users, detect fraud, enforce our Terms, maintain records, and comply with legal, tax, safety, and payment-provider requirements.

Grab-A-Mow may send service updates by email and, when you separately opt in, by SMS. Texts may cover lawn care requests, job opportunities, quotes, scheduling, payment, arrival, completion, and account or service updates. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support. SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase a service. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share them with messaging providers only as needed to deliver requested texts and operate the service.

Calendar export is optional and starts only when you choose an Add to Google Calendar or Download calendar event button for a confirmed visit. This feature does not give Grab-A-Mow permission to read, edit, or continuously sync your personal calendar. The exported event uses a generic title, planned time, completion deadline when available, and a fixed Grab-A-Mow dashboard link; it does not include names, street addresses, contact details, work notes, photos, payment details, gate codes, coordinates, or private access tokens. If you choose Google Calendar or import the downloaded file into Apple Calendar, Outlook, or another provider, that provider handles the copy under its own terms and privacy policy.

If calling, voicemail, chat, automated messaging, AI support, or call recording features are later enabled, Grab-A-Mow may collect related communication records where allowed by law and with any required notice or consent.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Grab-A-Mow, including hosting, database, analytics, payment, email, SMS, identity verification, background screening, support, security, legal, tax, accounting, and business operations tools.

We may share job-related information between homeowners and lawn pros so a requested service can be evaluated, accepted, scheduled, completed, reviewed, paid, supported, or disputed. This can include names, contact details, address or service area, job notes, photos, GPS proof, completion status, ratings, and messages when reasonably needed for the Grab-A-Mow service.

For lawn pros seeking access to homeowner jobs, Grab-A-Mow may collect identity information, report details and background-screening status to determine required job-access eligibility and account safety. Pros may sign up and complete a profile before clearance, but cannot accept or work on jobs until screening is verified and current. We show homeowners whether a pro has a verified background-check badge, not the report itself. Screening vendors may collect additional information under their own privacy terms.

Grab-A-Mow may collect insurance documents, insurer and expiration details, the Grab-A-Mow services a pro says are covered, and private review records. Pros may create or edit a profile while review is pending, but job actions stay locked until current coverage is verified for the services booked. Homeowners see verification status and covered-service eligibility, not the private insurance document.

Grab-A-Mow may collect and store GPS arrival details, before and after photo links, completion notes, payment status, approval status, and related dispute records to confirm job progress and protect both homeowners and lawn pros.

Lawn pros may upload same-day fuel or lunch receipts for recordkeeping. Lead Pros may tag helper or crew names on expense records for their own tracking. Grab-A-Mow may store receipt files privately and keep receipt metadata such as file name, file type, file size, upload date, and a file fingerprint so pros can view or export organized records. These records are used for Grab-A-Mow app tracking and exports, but pros remain responsible for confirming tax treatment with their own tax professional.

Homeowners may privately organize Grab-A-Mow payment records by property and label a property as business use. These records come from Grab-A-Mow job-payment events processed through Stripe and may show charges, confirmed or pending refunds, net totals, service status, and records requiring reconciliation. Homeowners do not use the lawn-pro expense-account connection. With the homeowner's consent, Stripe may separately save a payment method for future Grab-A-Mow job payments. These records and labels are used for dashboard recordkeeping and exports; they do not determine tax deductibility or replace Stripe, bank, invoice, or tax records.

Stripe expense-data connection notice — version 2026-09-23

When Grab-A-Mow displays the connection as live on a lawn-pro dashboard, the lawn pro may separately authorize Stripe Financial Connections to share read-only transaction information for one selected business-use credit-card account. Homeowners do not use this expense connection; Stripe Payments handles their saved payment methods only for Grab-A-Mow job payments. When a lawn-pro screen says connection setup is required or test connection only, real customer accounts must not be connected. Grab-A-Mow does not use fixed sample purchases to represent a real connection.

Depending on the institution, shared information may include the institution and account display name, last four digits, transaction description, date, amount, currency, pending, posted or void status, and Stripe transaction identifiers. Stripe's current Financial Connections transaction feed does not promise merchant-category enrichment. Grab-A-Mow does not request or store the full card number, security code, or online-banking password.

Grab-A-Mow stores the Stripe Financial Connections account reference encrypted for restricted server processes. Transaction identifiers are irreversibly digested before storage to prevent duplicate imports, track pending-to-posted changes, process voids, maintain a refresh marker, investigate connection errors, and document consent, disconnection, deletion, and security events. Users see only limited connection details such as institution, account nickname, last digits, status, and reviewed transactions.

Only one credit-card account may be linked to a lawn-pro account at a time. A lawn pro may disconnect to stop future imports and should do so when the card is no longer used or the account is closed. Grab-A-Mow asks Stripe to unsubscribe and disconnect the account, removes unreviewed imported data after successful disconnection, and retains only records deliberately promoted into an expense ledger when needed for the pro's records, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or another disclosed retention purpose. A separate deletion request may be subject to lawful record-retention requirements.

Wave Accounting connection notice — version 2026-09-21

When the lawn-pro tax and earnings page displays a live Wave connection, the lawn pro may authorize Grab-A-Mow through Wave's OAuth screen. Grab-A-Mow may then receive the connected Wave user and business identifiers, business name, eligible chart-of-account identifiers and display names, authorization scopes, token expiration information, and encrypted access and refresh tokens. Grab-A-Mow does not receive the lawn pro's Wave password.

Grab-A-Mow uses the connection only to display account choices and create the Stripe-released earning and reviewed-expense transactions the lawn pro explicitly selects. The connection does not give Grab-A-Mow permission to read unrelated Wave transactions. Export records may include a permanent external reference, source job or expense identifier, destination business identifier, Wave transaction identifier, status, timestamp, and limited error details to prevent duplicates, support reconciliation, investigate failures, and meet security or legal obligations.

OAuth tokens are encrypted and restricted to server processes. Disconnecting asks Wave to revoke the connection and deletes the stored connection tokens from Grab-A-Mow. Existing transactions already created in Wave remain in the lawn pro's Wave business. Export logs may be retained when reasonably needed for duplicate prevention, tax records, fraud prevention, disputes, security, or legal compliance. Homeowners do not connect Wave accounts through Grab-A-Mow.

Grab-A-Mow keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the platform, maintain job and payment records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal or tax obligations, and protect our rights and users. Retention periods may vary by record type and payment, tax, safety, or legal need.

You may contact hello@grabamow.com to request access, correction, deletion, or review of your personal information. Some records may need to be kept when required for payment processing, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, legal compliance, backup, or legitimate business records.

Grab-A-Mow is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review it.

Security practices

No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Grab-A-Mow uses reasonable safeguards and trusted service providers, but users should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through forms, messages, photos, or receipt uploads.

Grab-A-Mow limits personal information to what is reasonably needed to run the platform, match jobs, support payments, send notifications, verify work, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. Payment and payout information is handled through payment providers such as Stripe, and Grab-A-Mow should not store full card numbers on its own servers.

Grab-A-Mow does not ask users to send passwords, banking information, full payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or identity documents through ordinary website forms unless a trusted verification or payment provider requires it through its own secure flow.

Users should contact hello@grabamow.com if they believe their account, phone number, email, job details, payment status, or personal information has been accessed or used improperly.

Marketplace accountability

Grab-A-Mow is a technology platform that helps homeowners and independent lawn care providers connect. Our Terms of Service explain that lawn pros are responsible for their own work, equipment, safety, conduct, taxes, insurance, legal compliance, and any damage or injury caused by their services. Homeowners are responsible for providing accurate property access, pet, hazard, and job details.

Back to Grab-A-Mow

To locate a property or business base and match nearby jobs, Grab-A-Mow may send the entered street address, city and state to address lookup providers, including Google, Mapbox or the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder. Browser location is optional and requires your permission.

Public profiles and referral links

Complete pro profiles with approved screening and active availability may appear in the public service-area directory with name, base city/state, service radius, a Grab-A-Mow screening-approval mark and the background report's completion date. The mark identifies a point-in-time check, not continuous monitoring. Street addresses, coordinates, contact details and background reports are not published there. Setting availability to not accepting jobs removes a pro from this directory. Homeowners choose whether to publish completed-job photo pairs. A request submitted through a pro’s public link records the referring pro so we can show aggregate requests, paid bookings, completed jobs and repeat customers. Referral links do not automatically assign work.
