Grab-A-Mow Marketplace · Updated September 28, 2026

Grab-A-Mow Marketplace (also called Grab-A-Mow) is the website and app operated by Grab A Mow, LLC.

These Terms apply when you use Grab-A-Mow or grabamow.com to request lawn care, offer lawn care services, receive job updates, or interact with the Grab-A-Mow platform.

Grab-A-Mow is a marketplace platform

Grab-A-Mow Marketplace connects homeowners, landlords, and businesses with independent lawn care providers. Users can submit requests and photos, compare quotes from pros whose service radius covers the property, choose a pro, coordinate visits, exchange messages, review completion evidence, and handle payments through the platform. Repeat visits require republishing the property listing and completing a fresh quote and booking; they are not automatic. Availability and accepted work are not guaranteed. Grab-A-Mow does not directly perform lawn care services and is not the employer, supervisor, contractor, or agent of any lawn pro.

Services currently bookable through Grab-A-Mow are lawn mowing; the mowing add-on weed eating/edging; ground-level fall cleanup; basic chemical-free ground-level care limited to routine shrub trimming, mulching, and pulling weeds by hand; and snow shoveling or snow blowing where available. Snow-service availability depends on location, season, weather, demand, and nearby pros. Gutter cleaning, pressure washing, tree work, hardscaping, specialty landscaping, exterior painting, property repairs, electrical, gas, structural, hazardous-material, herbicide, pesticide, fertilizer, other chemical applications, junk removal, pool maintenance, and other unlisted work are not bookable through Grab-A-Mow.

Independent lawn pro responsibility

Lawn pros are independent service providers. Each lawn pro is responsible for their own work quality, tools, equipment, transportation, staffing, safety practices, insurance, licenses, permits, taxes, legal compliance, communication, professional behavior, and ethics.

Lawn pros are responsible for any property damage, injury, theft, unsafe conduct, missed appointments, incomplete work, or other harm caused by their services or behavior.

A lawn pro may browse nearby request summaries while screening is pending. Grab-A-Mow approval of a completed background screening is required before a lawn pro can quote, be selected, accept or join a job, travel to a property, or perform work. Once approved, a pro may be eligible to appear to homeowners in their service area, receive quote requests, and submit quotes; other account, radius, availability, insurance, payout, and payment requirements still apply. A background-check mark appears near the pro’s name or profile only after Grab-A-Mow reviews and approves a completed report that meets its requirements. The mark identifies the report completion date and Grab-A-Mow approval. It reflects a point-in-time check, not ongoing monitoring or a guarantee of safety, reliability, future conduct, or job quality. A homeowner cannot waive the screening requirement. Grab-A-Mow may also require identity, payment or other checks for account security or legal compliance and may restrict an account when a submitted screening result raises a safety concern. Homeowners should still use normal safety precautions.

Checkr screening purchase and refunds

A lawn pro may submit an existing completed background-check report for private Grab-A-Mow review instead of buying a new one. When online checkout for a new screening is available, the pro pays Grab-A-Mow $49.99 total through Stripe for one new Checkr Grab-A-Mow Basic - Lawn Pros screening. This is a one-time charge for that screening, not an enrollment fee, subscription, or annual charge. Checkr’s $29.99 base package price is not a separate pro charge or a statement of Grab-A-Mow’s final Checkr bill. After confirmed payment, Grab-A-Mow requests a secure Checkr email invitation for that package. Checkr may bill Grab-A-Mow additional pass-through fees and applicable sales tax. Grab-A-Mow bears those amounts and does not charge the pro more for this order.

An accepted Checkr Basic report has no annual recheck under Grab-A-Mow’s screening policy. Its scheduled review point is five calendar years after the Checkr report completion date, not from payment or signup. The mark shows that completion date and Grab-A-Mow's approval, not a current guarantee about the pro: the report is a point-in-time snapshot, not continuous monitoring. Grab-A-Mow may pause or remove approval and job access sooner if the same report is revised or disputed, information changes, approval is revoked after review, or an account or safety concern arises. At the five-year point, the mark and quoting/job access pause until another suitable report is approved. The pro may choose a new Checkr screening at the price disclosed before that checkout or submit an existing completed report for private review. An uploaded report is subject to its separately recorded review expiration. Grab-A-Mow does not automatically order, email an invitation for, or charge for another Checkr screening. Payment does not guarantee approval, a badge, or work.

If Grab-A-Mow cannot deliver a valid Checkr invitation after reconciling the payment and Checkr order, Grab-A-Mow refunds the full $49.99. If an invitation expires before completion, contact Support; Grab-A-Mow reviews whether to provide a replacement invitation or a refund without placing an automatic second charge. An unfavorable screening result alone does not qualify for a refund once the report begins, subject to applicable law. Paying, receiving an invitation, completing a Checkr report, or uploading an existing report does not itself confer eligibility or a background-check mark; the separate Grab-A-Mow review and job-access requirements still apply. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

Current general liability insurance verified by Grab-A-Mow is required before a selected lawn pro can accept or join a job, receive payment, view the property address, travel to a property, or perform work. Lawn-care or landscaping-services general liability may qualify when the document or insurer confirms the exact booked services. A pro with verified background screening may be listed, receive invitations, quote, and be selected while insurance is pending. The verified coverage record must include every service booked on that job. Coverage for a service Grab-A-Mow does not offer is not required for Grab-A-Mow eligibility. A separate insurance check mark appears near the pro’s name or profile only after review. An upload, quote, certificate, payment, or self-description does not unlock acceptance or work. Verification expires when the submitted proof expires and may be revoked if coverage ends or cannot be confirmed. Insurance or an insurance check mark does not guarantee that a particular loss or claim will be covered.

Grab-A-Mow may provide links to third-party insurance providers so lawn pros can explore their own general liability coverage. Grab-A-Mow does not sell insurance, provide insurance advice, guarantee coverage, or act as an insurance broker or agent. Grab-A-Mow is not responsible for any insurance provider, policy, quote, claim, denial, exclusion, premium, cancellation, or coverage decision.

Some insurance links may become referral or affiliate links if Grab-A-Mow is approved by the provider. Grab-A-Mow may receive compensation when a user requests a quote or buys coverage through those links. This does not increase a pro's quoted premium through Grab-A-Mow, and pros should compare coverage, exclusions, limits, deductibles, state requirements, and price before buying. A mower may throw a rock through a window, a trimmer may damage siding or irrigation, and snow removal may involve a slip or damage to pavement, landscaping, or a parked vehicle. Pros should confirm with the provider or agent that each service they perform is covered and understand applicable exclusions.

Helpers and crews

A lawn pro may work alone or as a Lead Pro with helpers or a crew. Each helper must register as a Grab-A-Mow pro, connect with the Lead Pro through Work together, and complete Stripe payout setup before paid work begins. A Lead Pro may send a pending helper offer while insurance is under review. Each helper must have current screening and current insurance covering every service booked on the job verified by Grab-A-Mow before accepting, viewing the property address, traveling to, or working on a job. These requirements cannot be waived by the homeowner.

For a job with accepted helper shares, Grab-A-Mow transfers the agreed percentages of the job’s pro earnings to each participant’s connected Stripe account. The Lead Pro receives the remainder, including fractional-cent rounding. The homeowner’s price is unchanged. Helpers must accept before the Lead Pro marks On my way; shares then lock. Completion, payment verification and the homeowner approval or 24-hour no-issue release rules apply to the entire team. Incomplete or uncertain transfers are held for review. The Lead Pro remains responsible for managing the visit and completion evidence. Grab-A-Mow does not determine employment status, tax treatment or separate reimbursement arrangements.

Homeowner responsibility

Homeowners are responsible for providing accurate job and property details, including address, access instructions, gate codes, pets, hazards, sprinkler heads, rocks, toys, fragile items, property boundaries, parking instructions, slopes, steps, ice conditions, parked vehicles, permitted snow-placement areas, and any areas that should not be serviced.

Homeowners are responsible for confirming that they have permission to request work at the property and for keeping the property reasonably safe and accessible for the scheduled service.

User conduct

All users agree to act legally, honestly, safely, respectfully, and professionally. Grab-A-Mow may remove users, block accounts, cancel requests, review disputes, or decline service when we believe there is fraud, unsafe behavior, harassment, property risk, payment abuse, or other misuse of the platform.

Users may not attempt to access accounts, admin tools, payment systems, customer records, pro records, GPS proof, photos, receipt records, or platform data that they are not authorized to access. Grab-A-Mow may limit, suspend, investigate, or remove access when security, privacy, fraud, abuse, or payment risk is suspected.

Payments, payouts, and fees

New job quotes and unpaid bookings require a minimum total of $50, including the 12% Grab-A-Mow platform fee ($6 on a $50 job). The remaining $44 is allocated to pro earnings before applicable processing costs and agreed helper shares. Each job must meet the minimum; helper splits do not reduce the platform fee. Already-paid jobs retain their agreed price. Users must not understate a job price to arrange an off-platform cash balance.

Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider. Customer payments may include a Grab-A-Mow platform fee. For proof-first jobs, Grab-A-Mow may collect the customer payment before work begins and automatically release the lawn pro transfer after GPS/proof rules pass, customer approval is received, or the no-dispute waiting window ends. Final payout timing can depend on Stripe, bank processing, account verification, refunds, disputes, or compliance checks.

$25 missed-visit fee — new bookings acknowledged from September 19, 2026

This fee compensates a lawn pro for a wasted trip and reserved work time when the homeowner has not cancelled and the agreed work cannot be performed for a homeowner-caused reason, such as someone else having already completed it. It is not a charge for completed lawn care.

The $25 fee applies only when all of these conditions are met: the homeowner acknowledged this policy before choosing the pro; more than 48 hours have elapsed since the pro accepted the job; the homeowner did not cancel before arrival; the pro actually arrived for the agreed visit ready and eligible to perform the agreed work; and Support verifies that a homeowner-caused issue prevented the work. A report or missing app update alone is not proof.

Cancel through your homeowner dashboard if the job is no longer needed. Cancellation within 48 hours of the pro's acceptance is exempt. Late cancellation alone does not trigger this fee. No fee applies under this policy if the pro does not arrive, the homeowner cancelled before arrival, or the failed visit was not the homeowner's responsibility. Existing bookings without this acknowledgment are not subject to this new fee.

Support must review the booking, cancellation timing, evidence of arrival and reason the work could not be performed, and allow the homeowner to respond before approving a fee. Contact Support to dispute the incident. This is a Support-reviewed fee, not an automatic card charge. Any prepaid job amount, refund or credit must be accounted for so the same $25 is not collected twice. The full unperformed job price is not charged under this policy.

No off-platform payments or bypassing Grab-A-Mow

Users agree not to use Grab-A-Mow to find a homeowner or lawn pro and then move the job, payment, scheduling, or future related work outside Grab-A-Mow to avoid Grab-A-Mow fees, payment protections, review tools, proof records, or support processes. Lawn pros may not request or accept cash, direct app payments, checks, or other off-platform payment for a Grab-A-Mow job unless Grab-A-Mow gives written approval.

Any additional lawn mowing, weed eating/edging, ground-level fall cleanup, shrub trimming, mulching, hand weeding, snow shoveling, snow blowing, larger service area, recurring visit, or work on another nearby property must be requested through Grab-A-Mow before the work is performed. The selected pro may quote or propose approved Grab-A-Mow work, but the homeowner must approve the exact scope and price before the job total changes. Grab-A-Mow may require another insurance check, payment, proof, and payout record. Specialty, chemical, elevated, construction, painting, repair, and other unlisted services cannot be added through a note or side agreement.

Users may not exchange personal contact information or use Grab-A-Mow job information for the purpose of avoiding Grab-A-Mow payment, job records, proof requirements, reviews, platform fees, or support. Off-platform side deals are outside Grab-A-Mow's payment protection, proof records, review process, support, refunds, and payout process.

Grab-A-Mow may suspend or remove users, withhold platform access, cancel jobs, refuse refunds, review payout eligibility, or pursue other remedies when a user attempts to bypass Grab-A-Mow, submits misleading proof, accepts off-platform payment, or encourages another user to avoid the platform.

Job proof and payout review

Grab-A-Mow may require customer prepayment, GPS arrival at or near the property, before and after photos, completion notes, homeowner approval, ratings, and platform review before a job is closed or a pro payout is considered complete. Missing GPS, missing proof, poor proof quality, customer disputes, unsafe conduct, suspected off-platform payment, fraud, or missing anti-bypass acknowledgement may delay, block, reverse, or require manual review before any payout release.

Expense and receipt tracking

Grab-A-Mow may let lawn pros record fuel and lunch receipts for Grab-A-Mow working days. Lead Pros may tag a helper or crew member on an expense record for tracking only. Receipt uploads are for recordkeeping only and must be submitted on the same working date shown in the app. Grab-A-Mow may store receipt files privately, keep receipt metadata such as file name, file type, file size, upload date, and a file fingerprint, and include approved records in pro-facing CSV or year-end exports.

Expense tracking does not mean Grab-A-Mow is reimbursing the expense, approving the expense for tax purposes, verifying helper pay, or providing tax, accounting, payroll, employment, or legal advice. Pros remain responsible for their own records, tax treatment, reimbursements, helper arrangements, and professional advice. Grab-A-Mow may reject, remove, limit, or review receipt uploads that appear unrelated to Grab-A-Mow work, unsafe, misleading, duplicative, inappropriate, or outside the allowed expense rules.

Homeowners may view private Grab-A-Mow spending records organized by property and may label a property as business use. These records are based on available Stripe payment events and may separately identify completed services, prepaid or open work, confirmed refunds, pending refunds, or amounts needing reconciliation. Homeowners do not use the lawn-pro expense-account connection. With the homeowner's consent, Stripe may save a payment method for future Grab-A-Mow job payments. The business-use label is supplied by the homeowner and does not establish that an expense is tax-deductible. Grab-A-Mow spending records are not an official tax form, do not replace Stripe, bank, invoice, or other source records, and are not tax, accounting, or legal advice. Homeowners remain responsible for confirming their records and tax treatment with a qualified professional.

Stripe business-use card connection — version 2026-09-23

This feature is not an application or offer for a Grab-A-Mow card, credit, cash back, rewards, funding, or reimbursement. A real financial account may be connected only when the dashboard explicitly displays Live read-only card connection. A test or setup-required state is not available for real customer financial accounts.

When live, a lawn pro must separately authorize Stripe Financial Connections to share read-only transaction information for one selected business-use credit-card account. Homeowners do not use this expense connection; their payment methods are processed and, with consent, saved through Stripe Payments only for Grab-A-Mow job payments. Only one expense card may be linked to a lawn-pro account at a time. The connection does not let Grab-A-Mow charge the linked expense card, move money, make purchases, see the full card number, or change the account. The lawn pro must be authorized to connect the account and should disconnect if the card is no longer used or the account is closed. Stripe may continue billing Grab-A-Mow for active transaction access; this disclosure does not create a separate customer connection fee.

Lawn pros may still upload receipts manually for purchases made with another card, cash, or another payment method. Manual uploads remain subject to the same accuracy, privacy, supporting-record, and tax-responsibility limits.

Synced transactions first appear as Needs review. A lawn pro must confirm the category and business purpose before a purchase is added to pro expense records. Linked-card purchases remain separate from confirmed Grab-A-Mow job payments so the same charge is not counted twice.

Transaction data, a card statement, a suggested category, or a user label does not establish tax deductibility. Receipts, invoices, mileage records, or other support may still be required. Users remain responsible for accurate classifications, supporting records, personal purchases, property assignments, tax treatment, and professional advice.

Wave Accounting export — version 2026-09-21

Wave export is available only to lawn pros and only when the dashboard says the live connection is available. Wave requires an eligible Wave Pro or Wave Advisor business and may require approval of Grab-A-Mow's commercial integration. Grab-A-Mow is independent of Wave and is not created, sponsored, or endorsed by Wave.

A lawn pro must authorize the connection through Wave's own OAuth screen, choose the Wave accounts used for deposits and expenses, review the selected records, and confirm each export. Grab-A-Mow requests only business read access, account read access, and transaction write access. Grab-A-Mow does not request the lawn pro's Wave password and does not read or alter unrelated Wave transactions.

The API export copies Stripe-released Grab-A-Mow earnings and reviewed Grab-A-Mow expenses as Wave transactions. Permanent external references and private export logs are used to prevent duplicate copies. Existing Wave transactions remain in Wave if the connection is disconnected. Disconnecting asks Wave to revoke access and deletes the stored connection tokens from Grab-A-Mow; legally required export, tax, fraud, dispute, and security records may be retained.

The lawn pro remains responsible for choosing the correct Wave accounts, reviewing every exported amount and category, reconciling the Wave business, correcting records in Wave, and obtaining accounting or tax advice. Grab-A-Mow does not guarantee that an export establishes taxable income, deductibility, or a complete set of books. A CSV fallback remains available without an API connection.

Ratings, reviews, and disputes

Homeowners may rate lawn pros after completed work. Grab-A-Mow may review photos, notes, GPS events, payment records, ratings, and messages when handling disputes. Grab-A-Mow may help resolve issues, but users remain responsible for their own actions, work, property, and agreements.

No guarantee and limitation of liability

Grab-A-Mow does not guarantee that a specific lawn pro will be available, that a job will be accepted, that work will meet every expectation, or that estimates will exactly match final pricing. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Grab-A-Mow is not liable for lawn damage, property damage, personal injury, loss, theft, user misconduct, missed appointments, incomplete work, third-party services, payment processor delays, or disputes between homeowners and lawn pros.

Service updates and SMS Terms

Grab-A-Mow offers optional, service-related SMS updates to users who separately opt in through a Grab-A-Mow form. SMS consent is not required to purchase or use Grab-A-Mow.

By entering your phone number on grabamow.com and choosing SMS consent, you agree that Grab-A-Mow may send you SMS messages related to Grab-A-Mow services.

Messages may include lawn care request confirmations, lawn pro job opportunities, scheduling reminders, arrival and completion updates, payment links, customer approval reminders, and account or service alerts.

Message frequency varies based on your Grab-A-Mow activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS is not required to purchase goods or services.

Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support, or contact hello@grabamow.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled.

Optional calendar copies

For a confirmed visit, homeowners and lawn pros may choose to add a generic event to Google Calendar or download a standard calendar file for Apple Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar app. This is a one-way convenience copy, not a live calendar sync. Calendar alerts depend on the user's calendar settings, and the copied event does not update automatically if the Grab-A-Mow appointment changes.

The Grab-A-Mow dashboard remains the official schedule and status record. Editing or deleting a personal calendar event does not reschedule or cancel a job, and changing or cancelling a job in Grab-A-Mow may require the user to update or remove the older personal calendar copy. Users must make scheduling and cancellation changes through Grab-A-Mow and should check the dashboard for current information.
